Style Peek

Style Peek is a browser extension for designers and developers. Hover over any part of a web page to see its fonts, colours, spacing and size, copy a clean CSS rule, and list every colour and font on the page. In short: it reads the styles of the page you have open and shows them to you. Nothing is sent to us.
What it reads
Only when you click the Style Peek button, and only the tab you clicked it in: the computed styles of the elements you point at, and, if you open the colours and fonts list, the colours and font names used on that page.
What it does not do
- It does not run on any page until you click it, and stops when you press Esc, click Off or reload the page.
- It does not collect, store, send or sell personal information, page content or browsing history.
- It has no analytics, tracking, adverts or accounts, and no server of ours is involved.
Clipboard
When you press Copy CSS or click a colour or font, that text is placed on your clipboard on your own computer. Nothing else is done with it.
Permissions
- Active tab: to inspect the tab you are on, only after you click the button.
- Scripting: to add the inspector to that tab after the click.
Storage
Nothing is stored. Everything disappears when you turn it off or close the tab.
